CatchPro Clicker helps you record fishing counters, catches, session notes, and optional fishing conditions. This policy explains what the app accesses, where information is stored, and when information is sent to a service provider.
CatchPro stores your counters, counter names and voice phrases, catch counts and weights, session dates, notes, saved conditions, and app preferences in the app’s private storage on your device. CatchPro does not provide user accounts or upload these fishing records to a CatchPro server.
You can export records to a CSV file in a folder you choose. The exported file is outside CatchPro’s private storage and remains until you delete it yourself. You can remove completed history or reset app data in Settings. Uninstalling CatchPro removes its private app data, but does not remove exported CSV files.
If you enable voice phrases and start a counter session, CatchPro uses the microphone for speech recognition so you can add or remove catches hands-free. The recognised speech is processed by the speech recognition service selected on your Android device. Depending on that service and your device settings, speech may be processed on the device or sent to the service provider under that provider’s privacy terms.
CatchPro does not save raw audio recordings. While a catch weight is pending, the app may temporarily store the recognised text with the pending catch in its private app storage so it can recover the entry if the app returns from the background. That temporary entry is removed when the catch is handled or cancelled.
CatchPro asks for location permission only when you tap Get conditions from my location. It uses the permitted location to request current weather, today’s average wind speed, and barometric pressure from Open-Meteo over HTTPS. If you save the conditions with a session, the coordinates and weather values are stored with that session on your phone. You can also enter conditions manually or decline location access.
For the free Open-Meteo API, its published terms say server logs may include IP addresses and geographic coordinates for troubleshooting and may be retained for up to 90 days.
CatchPro includes Google Analytics for Firebase. Depending on the Firebase project configuration and the app/device settings, the SDK may automatically send app usage events and app or device metadata to Google to provide analytics reports and improve the service. CatchPro does not define analytics events that send counter names, catch weights, or session notes.
See Google’s privacy policy and Firebase’s Android data disclosure for information about Google’s services and SDK data handling.
CatchPro does not sell your fishing records. The services involved when you choose the related features are:
These providers handle information under their own privacy terms and service configurations.
Fishing records are kept in CatchPro’s private app storage on your device until you delete them, reset app data, or uninstall the app. CatchPro uses HTTPS for its weather request and Firebase SDK communications. Protect your device with its normal screen lock and security features. Exported files are managed by you in the folder you select.
CatchPro is a general fishing utility and is not designed specifically for children. It does not ask users to create an account.
This policy may be updated when CatchPro’s features or data practices change. The current version should be available from the CatchPro Clicker app and its Google Play listing.
